The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a United States government organization responsible for providing supplies and logistical support for the country's military services. Founded in 1961, the agency is the Department of Defense's largest logistics combat support agency with a central command in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. DLA works with a global network of military installations, bases, and depots to provide everything from food and clothing to aircraft and weapons systems.
