NYC Teaching Fellows is a highly respected and competitive program that recruits recent graduates and career changers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of underserved students in New York City public schools. Founded in 2000, the program provides intensive pre-service training, ongoing professional development, and placement in high-needs schools throughout the city. Participants commit to teaching for at least three years and receive full salary and benefits while obtaining their Master's degree in education.
