硬件开发实习生 (2027届校招)

In 2010, Calix China Development Center, "凯易讯," was funded in Nanjing Software Valley, located on Software Avenue, with convenient transportation. Calix CDC comprises nearly 300 professionals specializing in software and hardware development, testing, supply chain, and project management. Our team members hail from well-known companies in the IT and Internet industry. We collaborate with multinational teams from the United States, India, and other countries to develop core products.

Calix hardware team is looking for a Hardware Intern to work on Hardware Engineering activities. 

This position has a focus on supporting SME(system matter expert) or PTL (Project technical leader) to implement Calix system requirements and HW quality expectation for residential and business optical and copper based gateways in both the telecom and MSO market spaces.
This role has the chance to work with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineer,  access system hardware engineer, software engineer ,etc so to further understand  end to end networking technology and product scope.

Responsibilities

• Support on executing some HW validation in internal lab or external resource such as thermal performance check, system level performance verification and reliability test.
• Assist SME on some specified HW topics’ evaluation initiatives.
• Assist PTL on project technical documentation consolidation and review.
• Work with cross functional development teams to clarify suspected HW related issues.

Basic Qualification

• Graduate in 2027, Master's degree
• Available for 3-4 days per week, lasting for 6 months or longer
• Major in electronics, communication, and automation, or relevant
• Experience with Microsoft office tools such as Word, Excel and Power Point.  

Preferred Qualification

• Understanding of access networking technology such as Ethernet, PON or RF (Wi-Fi/BLE)
• Understanding of Signal integrity theory and Power integrity theory. Experience on real signals measurements and simulation are preferred.
• Knowledge of optoelectronics, or knowledge of microwave technology, RF circuit and antenna
• Understanding of major H/W interfaces including DDR, Flash, xMII, PCIE, etc.
• Good English written and oral skills are preferred.

Allowance

• 240-280 RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
