Overview

How You Can Make a Real Impact: 

  • Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals
  • Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments 
  • Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping
  • Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings 
  • Collect observational data and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians

Responsibilities

We’re Hiring Compassionate Team Members Who: 

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program
  • Have completed a minimum of 60 credits in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Human Services or a related field
  • Want to make a difference in the lives of autistic, intellectually, and developmentally challenged individuals
  • Looking to fill 3pm-11pm shifts (Friday-Tuesday)

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or already possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related fields.
  • Experience with Developmentally Disabled or brain injury populations is preferred, but not required.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED, valid Driver’s License, six months related work experience, or, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field or currently enrolled in a related college program are required. Must currently hold a Valid Driver's License without restrictions and at least one year driving experience. Applicants with poor driving records may not be eligible for employment. Clean Criminal Background. Minimum of 18 years of age required

This is an entry-level direct care position. Many of our employees are promoted to supervisory positions or accepted into top graduate schools. Excellent opportunity to possibly participate in clinical research.
