Accountant – Accounts Receivable, Invoicing & Financial Operations

Full-Time | Remote | U.S. Business Hours

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Accountant to manage invoicing, accounts receivable, cash flow tracking, and day-to-day financial operations.

This is more than a traditional bookkeeping role. You’ll work closely with leadership to keep financial records accurate while helping modernize accounting systems, automate workflows, and improve financial visibility.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with a tech-forward, process-improvement mindset.

What You’ll Own

Invoicing & Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices
• Manage accounts receivable and collections follow-ups
• Monitor outstanding balances and payment status
• Confirm incoming payments and maintain accurate transaction records
• Support healthy cash flow through consistent AR management

Cash Flow & Financial Operations

• Track incoming and outgoing transactions
• Monitor cash flow and payment schedules
• Maintain accurate financial reports and trackers
• Support banking and treasury-related activities
• Provide leadership with clear visibility into financial priorities

Accounting Systems & Automation

• Support migration from QuickBooks to modern accounting systems
• Improve accounting workflows using automation and AI tools
• Reduce repetitive manual processes
• Streamline payment tracking, reporting, and reconciliations
• Help build scalable accounting processes as the business grows

Reporting & Financial Organization

• Prepare financial summaries and operational reports
• Maintain clean, organized, audit-ready records
• Ensure accuracy across financial systems and documentation
• Support consistent accounting and compliance processes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting or financial operations experience
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Experience managing invoicing, accounts receivable, and payment tracking
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Familiarity with digital banking and payment processing platforms
• Strong understanding of financial tracking workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable working with U.S.-based leadership
• Availability during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

• Accounting system migration experience
• Experience with automation or AI-assisted accounting workflows
• Cash forecasting or treasury operations exposure
• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience improving accounting SOPs and processes
