Location: Remote (LATAM)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
Compensation: $1,800–$4,000 USD/month (higher for exceptional candidates)

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can confidently manage multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously. The ideal candidate has exceptional English communication skills, a proven track record of long-term tenure with previous employers, and hands-on experience supporting multiple U.S. GAAP clients within blue-collar and service-based industries such as construction, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, and other field-service businesses. This person is highly organized, client-facing, proactive, and capable of translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable insights for business owners.

What You'll Do

Client Accounting Management

  • Own month-end close processes across multiple client accounts.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all accounting functions.

Payroll & Compliance

  • Process payroll and employee onboarding within payroll systems.
  • Manage and submit U.S. state sales tax filings.
  • Maintain compliance with client-specific accounting requirements and deadlines.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Build custom reports and dashboards for business owners.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning initiatives.
  • Present financial insights in a clear and actionable manner.

Process Improvement

  • Document accounting processes and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Help standardize procedures across multiple client engagements.

Founder Collaboration

  • Participate in daily check-ins with company leadership.
  • Prioritize tasks independently and proactively communicate progress.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Required Experience

  • 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Experience managing accounting for multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience supporting businesses in service-based industries such as construction, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, roofing, home services, or related sectors.
  • Proven history of long-term employment (3+ years with previous employers preferred).
  • Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to confidently discuss accounting concepts with U.S. business owners.
