Overview:

M&T Bank is seeking an Acquisition Marketing Specialist (Retail Deposits) to support day-to-day management of the organization’s multi-channel campaigns focused on customer acquisition. This role plays a critical role driving customer adoption, utilization and awareness of deposits products by executing marketing campaigns that accelerate growth in checking, savings, CDs and money market products, advancing enterprise priorities and improving return on investment across consumer deposits products.

This role will help design, activate and optimize end-to-end acquisition journeys-from audience and offer strategy through channel execution, measurement and continuous optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Marketing campaign strategy and execution: Lead execution across channels (email, paid media, direct mail, branch) elevating creative quality and strengthening overall marketing strategy.
• Support the organization’s marketing initiatives through careful planning and coordination of campaigns.
• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and test and learns.
• Partner with business and product teams to assess needs and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with digital partners to optimize experiences across channels and ensure a seamless customer journey from campaign entry points to landing pages.
• Help monitor campaign performance, analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations to improve outcomes and ROI.
• Keep appraised of relevant best practices.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Finance or related field preferred and 2 years of marketing experience or in Lieu of a degree, a combination of 6 years of higher education and relevant experience
• Experience executing on projects and initiatives
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task workflow
• Experience resolving modestly complex problems
• Has demonstrated working relationships with internal and external partners 

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $62,200.00 - $103,600.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
