ACT Lead | Civil and Structural Engineering

This is a compelling opportunity for a senior engineer to lead and grow our civil and structural engineering presence in Canberra.

As a key leadership appointment, the role offers the chance to combine technical excellence, commercial acumen and strong client engagement to shape the growth of our ACT business. Day to Day

• Win work and help grow the Canberra client base
• Deliver high-quality civil and structural engineering projects
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Work closely with the NSW Civil and Structural teams
• Recruit, mentor, and help grow the local team
• Balance hands-on technical delivery with leadership and business growt

Profile/Skills

Essential

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural), ideally Chartered or working towards chartership
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering role, with a strong track record in project delivery and client relationship management
• Experience using engineering software such as SPACEGASS, RAPT, ETABS, RCB, STRAND7, or equivalent
• Strong local market connections in Canberra, particularly across the development, commercial, and medium to high-density building sectors
