Job Description

To apply analytical, statistical and mathematical skills to analyse data in order to assist with solving of business and financial problems (particularly those involving risk). This entails calculating the probability of and costs associated with certain events, such as product failure, accidents, property damage, injury, and death. The results are used to design and price insurance policies, investment plans, pension plans and other financial instruments.

Experience with and understanding of risk management and terminology within related area of financial services, such as banking, investment asset management or insurance. Understanding of related products and services, and basic business processes

The role requires a background in mathematics and statistics with sound business and financial understanding to work towards solving highly complex financial and risk management problems.
