Actuarial Valuation - Experience Analytics & Process Enhancement

Position Responsibilities:

Core Analytics & Process Enhancement

• Develop, maintain, and enhance data processing and analytical tools to support experience monitoring, experience studies, and medical repricing activities.

• Support the migration of actuarial models, reports, and analytical processes from Excel-based solutions to Power BI, Python, SQL, or other scalable analytics platforms.

• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve actuarial processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations to support experience monitoring and management decision-making.

Data Management & Controls

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks across various actuarial data sources.

• Enhance and maintain process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks to improve reliability and auditability of analytical outputs.

• Investigate data anomalies and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve data issues

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.

• Progressing toward actuarial qualification

• Strong Excel skills.

• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or other analytics tools preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to independently develop analytics solutions and process improvements

• Experience leading data analytics or automation initiatives.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
