Employee Type:

Regular-Full time

This is a non-union position

At Enbridge, we deliver safe, reliable energy while building meaningful connections in the communities we serve. We're seeking an Advisor, Community Events whose primary purpose is to operate our natural gas-fired mobile kitchen – preparing and serving food at strategic community events that showcase Enbridge Gas as a strong community partner and put the power of natural gas on full display.

Working closely with the Lead, Community Events, you'll bring our energy to life at events across our Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) footprint – cooking on the front line while managing the logistics, stakeholder relationships, and budgets that make each event a success.

If you're a hands-on, customer-focused professional who loves cooking for a crowd and connecting with community, we encourage you to apply.

What You Will Do:

Mobile Kitchen & Food Service (Primary Focus)

  • Operate natural gas-fired appliances to prepare and serve food at community events, demonstrating the everyday power of natural gas through our mobile kitchen.

  • Own the full food-service experience – setup, cooking, serving, food safety, and teardown – delivering a high-quality experience that reinforces Enbridge Gas as a trusted community partner.

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Coordinate end-to-end event delivery, including vendors, materials, and onsite operations.

  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships while tracking budgets, expenses, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues quickly to keep events running smoothly.

Stakeholder Engagement & Community Experience

  • Serve as a professional brand ambassador, building strong relationships with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders.

  • Support community engagement initiatives that align with organizational goals and foster positive, inclusive experiences.

Intake, Planning & Reporting

  • Manage incoming event requests, assessing alignment with priorities, budgets, and capacity.

  • Develop event plans, logistics schedules, and tracking tools; conduct post-event evaluations and share insights to improve future planning.

Who You Are:

  • Postsecondary education in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field – or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 4+ years coordinating and delivering events, ideally in community engagement or stakeholder-facing environments.

  • Comfortable with hands-on delivery: food preparation and service, operating natural gas-fired appliances, event setup/teardown, lifting, and extended standing.

  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting schedules.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced, high-demand environment with frequent reprioritization and competing deadlines.

  • Regular travel and onsite participation, including outdoor events in varying weather.

  • Physical activity including lifting, setup/teardown, extended standing, and occasional evenings and weekends.

  • Flexibility to travel regularly and work evenings and weekends; a valid driver's license is required.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $82,000 – $95,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Benefits:

  • A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance and disability.

  • A paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.

  • Valuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option.

  • Paid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays.

  • An Employee and Family Assistance Program.

  • A Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.

  • Enbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed work week schedule, or have flexible start and end times. Role requirements determine your eligibility for each option.
