Job Description
BwB is looking for an African Critical Minerals / Beneficiation Sector Expert to support a potential assignment focused on critical minerals, beneficiation, and industrial development in Africa.
Qualifications
Required:
Strong knowledge of African markets, with experience of engaging with governments, mining companies, investors, development finance institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
Direct experience in one or more of the following areas in Africa: critical minerals, mining-linked industrialisation, beneficiation, regional value chains, and industrial investment.
Desirable:
Fund / investment experience.
Knowledge of responsible-mining standards and ESG.
Regulatory / policy experience.
Familiarity with regional institutions and stakeholders.
Specific experience across mineral value chains.
