About the Role

In your role as an Agency Partnership Manager we expect you to be a highly motivated with a passion for video marketing and execution while consistently striving to exceed the expectations of clients and co-workers.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships mainly with media agencies, generating new business and driving revenue in a fast paced and rapidly changing industry. You are a self-starter who possesses outstanding digital Sales experience and is passionate about digital media and innovation.

The Agency Partnership Manager is dynamic, strategic, and analytical with experience within the video marketing sphere – on and off YouTube. You should also be passionate about learning even more about video marketing offerings, digital media and capabilities of YouTube and off-YouTube platforms. Through meticulous attention to detail, you can manage multiple complex projects with ease – whether they call for organizational skills, statistical analysis, or business acumen – and is always ready and excited to put in the extra work.

Responsibilities

  • Market Channel Factory products, with main focus on SoMe, to media agencies and clients. 
  • Initially, we want you to distribute your assignment approximately 60/40 on Channel Factory's SoMe products and Youtube products with Norway as the primary market.
  • You will be responsible for one or two agencies regarding Channel Factorys Youtube products.
  • Regarding Channel Factory's SoMe products, you are responsible for implementing these with as many partners as possible, both network and independent agencies as well as direct clients.
  • Provide the buyers with the right tools & knowledge to advocate our service. 
  • Responsible for creating the sales strategy and executing it into growth opportunities and revenue.
  • Lead the way and take ownership of agencies and partnerships. 
  • Finds new sales opportunities through networking and develops long term partnerships mainly with media agencies and direct clients
  • Manages the entire sales cycle from prospecting a new client and presenting Channel Factory’s products and services to closing the deal.
  • Provides actionable insights and solutions to agencies based on their video advertising goals and Channel Factory’s capabilities; negotiates costs and terms to secure win-win partnerships.
  • Takes full responsibility for agency partners: How do we expand the agency partnership? Which Channel Factory products meet their requirements best? What clients and budgets do they have? Who are key contacts?
  • Educate agencies on why Channel Factorys AIQ will drive better performance regarding SoMe.
  • Educate agencies on why Brand Safety and Brand Suitability on YouTube are important and why Channel Factory’s technology is superior to other options
  • Forecasts, tracks, and reports sales performance including budget, timelines, probability to close etc.
  • Collaborates with internal Channel Factory teams (Client Solutions, AdOps and international sales teams) to oversee proper execution of campaigns and ensure alignment with the clients’ campaign objectives
  • Reporting to Country Manager, Norway

Experience & Track Record

    • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrable track record in media sales, digital advertising, or ad tech, ideally managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
    • Agency & Client Network: An established network of contacts within media agencies (both network and independent) and direct clients, preferably in the Norwegian market.
    • Platform Familiarity: Solid experience selling or working with Social Media (SoMe) platforms and YouTube advertising solutions.
  • Skills & Knowledge
    • Strategic Sales & Forecasting: Ability to develop, execute, and report on sales strategies, including accurate forecasting (budgets, timelines, and win probabilities).
    • Technical & Product Savvy: Ability to quickly master and advocate for complex ad-tech solutions, specifically educating clients on Brand Safety/Brand Suitability and AI-driven performance tools (like Channel Factory’s AIQ).
    • Consultative Selling: Skilled at providing actionable, data-driven insights to clients, aligning their video advertising goals with tech capabilities, and negotiating win-win terms.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, including Client Solutions, AdOps, and international sales teams.
