Job Description
Summary Description
Assist the Supervisor/Department Head with all aspects of the department while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Customer Service
- Customer Retention
- Operation Handling
- Vendor Relations
- Assist with management of A/R and AJAX reports
- Procedure and Productivity Standards Adherence
- Accurate and Timely shipment processing & Billing
- Address and Resolve Exceptional report daily
- Other tasks as per job requirements and as being assigned by company
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Ocean/Logistics/Shipping/Freight Forwarding
- University/College graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience and understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
- Proactive with strong organizational skills.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English.
- Willing to work extra hours as required.
- Well-organized, innovative, and self‑motivated.
- Able to work in a team, under high pressure and tight deadlines.
