About this role

AI-Driven DevOps Engineer

FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES is a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international Freedom Finance financial holding. We develop and support trading and banking technology products used worldwide.

Since 2009, we have been building our core product-a trading platform for brokerage operations in the stock market. Today, more than 700,000 users across 41 countries rely on our applications.

Our team includes 170 professionals and has grown fourfold over the past three years. As we continue to scale, we are looking for an AI-Driven DevOps Engineer to join our Trading System Support Department.

This role is designed for a DevOps professional who is deeply enthusiastic about the practical use of artificial intelligence in engineering and operations. You will help us apply AI to improve software delivery, infrastructure automation, observability, incident response, documentation, and day-to-day engineering productivity.

We are looking for someone who actively experiments with modern AI technologies, develops AI-related solutions-including personal or open-source projects-and sees AI not simply as a coding assistant, but as a powerful tool for transforming DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and practices across DevOps and engineering workflows.
  • Design, prototype, and implement AI-enabled solutions for infrastructure automation, deployment processes, incident investigation, monitoring, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Explore practical applications of LLMs, AI agents, and AI-assisted development tools in DevOps environments.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment processes.
  • Develop, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain containerised application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support and evolve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve engineering workflows.
  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and the implementation of long-term reliability improvements.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, cross-functional teams, and external contractors to improve delivery and operational processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation for DevOps and AI-enabled solutions.
    • At least 3 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
    • A strong, genuine interest in AI in DevOps, with a clear understanding of how AI can improve engineering productivity, automation, observability, reliability, and incident management.
    • Hands-on experience building, supporting, or experimenting with AI-related projects-professional, personal, open-source, or otherwise.
    • Curiosity and initiative to continuously test emerging AI tools, models, frameworks, and agent-based workflows.
    • Strong understanding of DevOps fundamentals: automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised environments.
    • Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience with configuration automation and Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar solutions.
    • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
    • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting practices and tools. (Zabbix, Grafana, Opensearch, Vector)
    • Understanding of application deployment, release management, networking fundamentals, and secure engineering practices.
    • Experience supporting application databases from a DevOps perspective, including monitoring and performance troubleshooting for PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Native-level Russian proficiency.
    • Fully remote work.
    • A service agreement with a Cyprus-based company.
    • Fixed monthly compensation in euros.
    • 21 working days of paid annual leave.
    • Paid sick leave.
    • One additional paid day off per month.
    • Coverage of professional training courses and online conference participation fees.
    • A corporate discount on English language classes.
