Position Summary:

We are looking for an energetic Logistics Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for initiating, managing, and controlling the movement of refrigerated cargo and maintaining required export documents. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in logistics, be adaptable, detail-oriented, a quick learner, and possess a natural curiosity to learn more.

Scope of Responsibility:

• Manage ocean shipments.
• Transportation bookings.
• Update shipping rates and routes.
• Cold storage tracking.
• Ensure the on-time delivery of customer products.
• Stay abreast of intermodal trends.
• Update inventory, track product availability, and allocations.
• Customer follow-up.
• Provide data for claims when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 - 2 years of logistics, export documentation, or refrigerated ocean transportation experience is required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Natural ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, prioritize, and multi-task.
• Effective organization, time management, and attention to detail
• High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of urgency.

Language Requirements

• Candidates are required to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.
• Additional language proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
