We are looking for a Analyst III - Logistic Services
What do you do?
This role supports Category Managers by owning carrier invoice resolution through Trax and contributing to various sourcing activities for logistics services. The position ensures alignment with quality standards, service availability, and cost objectives while driving operational efficiency and value creation.
How will you do it?
- Partner with L&D and T203 to ensure timely carrier payments by reviewing and resolving invoices flagged as “Client Review.” This includes analyzing discrepancies and determining the appropriate action (approve, reject, or redirect).
- Attend strategic carrier meetings with Trax, drive and follow up on key action items, and collaborate with the PBU buyer, CM, or relevant stakeholders to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Collaborate with PBU buyers and Category Managers to continuously improve the invoicing process and reduce recurring errors.
- Identify and lead initiatives that drive year-over-year (YoY) savings and optimize Trade Working Capital (TWC).
- Support Category Managers in sourcing activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, and engagement.
- Conduct category research and provide market intelligence to support data-driven decision-making and economic analysis.
- Analyze spend data at a detailed level to identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and simplification, while addressing data gaps and quality issues.
- Perform additional procurement-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- +3 years of relevant experience in Indirect Procurement. Prior experience in Logistics is preferred
- General understanding of a Source-To-Pay process.
- Strong MS Office and advanced excel or VBA skills required.
- Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or other data tools preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
- Given the global nature of the role, candidates must show strong English written and communication skills.
- Proven experience working with KPIs and metrics
- Ability to drive continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities, streamlining processes and utilizing Lean/Quality tools to reduce waste and maximize throughput.
- Capability to learn and understand the business and the assigned categories, which will allow the candidate to better execute and generate value for JCI.
