Your Team

We're looking for a talented Developer to join our growing team in Makati City, Philippines. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and business analysts in a collaborative, agile environment where innovation and quality are paramount. You'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain robust solutions while continuously improving your technical skill set and contributing to meaningful projects that impact our customers globally.

• Collaborate closely with team leads, product owners, business analysts, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable code that adheres to best practices and architectural standards
• Write comprehensive solution designs for new features and participate in code reviews with technical leads
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
• Participate in client workshops and requirements analysis sessions to understand business needs
• Optimize and improve existing functionalities to enhance performance and user experience
• Take ownership of assigned projects and demonstrate accountability for your area of expertise
• Work effectively within an agile framework, utilizing ticketing platforms and collaborative tools
• Document code and technical solutions clearly for team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge with team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in software development or a related engineering role
• Strong programming knowledge with proficiency in one or more languages (Java, Python, C++, or similar)
• Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL
• Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented code and design thoughtful solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex technical challenges
• Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in team settings
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality assurance and testing practices

It would be a real bonus if you have

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience in the financial services industry or treasury domain
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards such as FIX protocol, SWIFT MT, or ISO 20022
• Familiarity with specialized platforms or tools relevant to your domain
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Proficiency in additional programming languages or frameworks
• Multilingual capabilities (additional languages are a plus)
• Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope
