Job Description
As an Apprentice Chef, you will learn to:
- Prepare and present quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner, events, buffets, and room service.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation and mise en place to support smooth service.
- Manage stock effectively and help minimise food waste.
- Keep kitchen equipment clean, safe, and service-ready.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
You will be
- Passionate about cooking and delivering quality food
- Willing to learn, develop new skills, and grow your career within the business
- Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Strongly committed to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
- Good with time management, possessing the ability to perform in a fact-paced environment
- Equipped with a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
