Arcade and Attractions Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: To assist in all aspects of maintenance including but not limited to bowling, arcade, general maintenance and other activities. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the areas overseen provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Diagnose and repair of bowling, arcade, and other amusement equipment and machines

· Preventive maintenance of pinsetters, lanes, lane machine, arcade machines and readers

· General upkeep and cleaning of facility and equipment

· Maintenance and upkeep of bowling and arcade systems

· Support restaurant repairs and maintenance

· Tracking and logging daily procedures

· Daily, weekly, quarterly cleaning projects surrounding the lanes, ball returns, lane seating, arcade, etc

· Order, maintain inventory of bowling and arcade supplies (chemicals, socks, balls, party supplies, redemption, stocking merchandisers, etc.)

· ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Preferred Degree: N/A

· Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid Driver’s License

· Years of experience: 2-3 years of experience in general maintenance preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

· Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.

· Proficiency in using common hand tools, testing equipment, multi-meters, and soldering equipment.

· Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and operating procedures.

· Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine effective solutions.

· Working knowledge of safety regulations, safe work practices, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

· Ability to safely work at heights, including the use of ladders and other equipment as required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, families, and team members.

· Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and maintaining a positive, guest-first attitude.

· Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing positively as a collaborative team member.

· Dependable, accountable, and adaptable with a strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence.

· Ability to analyze information, follow written and verbal instructions, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly walking and standing.

Regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.

Occasional sitting/computer work.

Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
