About this role

Company Description

WW+P is an award-winning architecture and urban design practice, part of Egis Group. With studios across London, Manchester, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto and beyond, we deliver city-shaping projects at the intersection of infrastructure, public space and community — including the Melbourne Metro, Cross River Rail, Elizabeth Line stations and Suburban Rail Loop.

Our Melbourne studio is growing, and we're looking for an Architect to join us on one of the most significant transport infrastructure programmes in Victoria's history.

Job Description

This is a design-led role at the heart of major station architecture. You'll be working across all stages of a project — from early concept and stakeholder engagement through to technical development, documentation and delivery — contributing to buildings and public spaces that will be used by millions of people for generations.

Day to day you'll be collaborating closely with architects, urban designers, engineers and clients across a genuinely multidisciplinary environment. You'll be expected to bring ideas, challenge briefs, and help translate design intent into buildable, beautiful outcomes. There's real scope here to take ownership of your work, develop your design voice, and grow into a more senior role as the programme evolves.

The projects you'll work on are complex, high-profile and deeply connected to the city — and you'll be doing it alongside some of the most experienced transport architects in Australia and globally

Qualifications

  • A degree in Architecture and progress towards or completion of registration
  • Demonstrated experience in transport, infrastructure or civic architecture
  • Strong design skills with the ability to work across scales — from precinct-level thinking to detailed resolution
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • An understanding of how great public architecture works in practice — technically, commercially and for the people who use it
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute positively in a fast-paced, design-led studio

When submitting your CV, please ensure your portfolio of select projects is provided by attachment or through an available link.
