Context

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in architectural metro or rail projects construction supervision.

Location : EET Blue & Red Lines - Section 3

Missions/Main Duties

Senior site Architect Engineer responsibilities including but not limited to: -

  • Perform site supervision roles for different construction site architectural activities, carried out by the contractor
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all architectural work, construction methodologies, compliance with health and safety requirements, compliance with materials specifications, workmanship and testing as part of overall quality control.
  • Technical office documents review Arch. technical submittals (Material Submittals - Method statements)
  • Ensure the implementation of construction shop drawings and construction documents including material submittals complying with codes and standards,
  • Follow up the architectural work on site & ensure compliance with time schedule.
  • Inspect related procured construction materials delivered to the site, to ensure compliance against specifications/contract documents/approvals.
  • Ensure that procedure for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability and safety in project designs is in place and implemented.
  • Review and evaluate contractor submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and proposed design changes
  • Liaise with clients to ensure alignment with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
  • Aware / understand the fire life/safety regulations and standards in mega project.
  • Coordinate & solve the interfaces between different design disciplines.
  • Interface with internal and external teams to ensure that design, technical quality and specifications of the projects are achieved.
  • Monitoring and follow up on the quality / progress issues at site during construction activities
  • Have HSE background for safe working activities during construction
  • Have experience in repair work
  • Review mockups and work progress against contract documents; make commentaries and recommendations to managers & client.
  • Lead the snagging procedure after substantial completion of construction activities have ended; ensure that a snag list is prepared based on defective/outstanding works for the contractor to rectify, repair and complete for re-inspection.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Architecture field.
  • Design review experience is preferred
  • Experience in Railway Projects is preferred
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Management & Coordination Skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Teamwork cooperation & Leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and hard conditions.
  • Availability to work at many places and smooth movement as per work requirement.
