What you'll own

• Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases to validate end-to-end Credit and Debit card transaction flows across payment systems.

• Testing Point of Sale (POS) applications and validating authorization, clearing, and settlement processes while ensuring compliance with payment industry standards.

• Ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of complex enterprise payment applications through functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Validating transactions across major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), while supporting test automation initiatives and maintaining accurate test and defect documentation.

What you'll bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 4+ years of testing experience within the Cards and Payments industry, with a strong understanding of end-to-end transaction flows.

• Experience writing and executing test cases for POS systems and payment applications, with knowledge of major card networks including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

• Working knowledge of payment industry standards and protocols, including ISO 8583, EMV, and related payment network specifications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, coupled with a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience testing complex enterprise-grade OLTP applications.

• Knowledge of Java, Shell Scripting, or other automation scripting languages.

• Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Jenkins/Harness pipelines.
