About the Team
The Financial Crime Compliance Team manages and oversees Invesco's AML and Sanctions Compliance Programs. The team provides regulatory guidance to business partners to assist Invesco in meeting its AML and Sanctions obligations consistently across our global business. The team also provides oversight of business, compliance, and operational areas and seeks to ensure material financial crime issues are appropriately escalated.
About the Role
This role supports the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Manager in delivering AML, sanctions, and broader financial crime compliance programs across APAC entities. The person will assist with execution of core compliance activities, monitoring and analysis, and coordination across regional and global stakeholders. The role provides exposure to multiple jurisdictions including Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan, and supports the consistent application of Invesco’s global financial crime compliance framework. This position reports to the APAC FCC Manager.
Role Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating AML, sanctions, and financial crime policies, procedures, systems, and controls
Support periodic financial crime risk assessments across entities, products, and business lines
Assist in providing AML and financial crime guidance to business teams
Support compliance reviews for new clients, products, investments, and business initiatives
Support oversight of AML operations teams, perform sample reviews and quality assurance checks, track and escalate issues
Assist Manager with preparing reporting and materials for governance committees and senior management
Track key financial crime risks, issues, and trends
Support delivery of AML and financial crime training
Requirements of the Role
1–4 years of experience in AML, sanctions, financial crime compliance, or related roles preferred
Foundational understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate across stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English; additional regional language skills are advantageous
Basic knowledge of asset management products preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
