The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Assistant Surveyor OP/UG | Βοηθός Τοπογράφου Επιφανειακής και Υπόγειας Εξόρυξης”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Senior Surveyor Engineer of the Technical Services department in Skouries. 

Main Responsibilities:  

• Conduct topographic surveys for both underground and surface mining operations. 

• Calculate excavation volumes, stockpile quantities, and mined material volumes. 

• Establish survey control points, reference lines, and boundaries for mine development and production activities. 

• Perform mine surveying and mapping of underground workings, surface features, and drill hole locations. 

• Support drilling and blasting activities through accurate survey control and layout. 

• Use surveying software (e.g., CAD/GIS) to process survey data and produce technical drawings and maps. 

• Inspect, calibrate, and maintain surveying instruments and equipment. 

• Guide and train survey assistants while coordinating field surveying activities. 

• Ensure the accuracy of survey measurements and compliance with technical specifications. 

• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures during all surveying activities. 

Requirements: 

• Degree or diploma in Surveying, Survey Engineering, or a related technical discipline (minimum two-year program). 

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar surveying role, preferably in mining operations. 

• Proficiency in CAD software for processing survey data and producing technical drawings. 

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in measurements and calculations. 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and engineering documentation. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. 

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic and demanding work environment. 

• Valid driver's license and willingness to perform fieldwork in both surface and underground mining environments.
