The Department of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Cancer Center (MSKCC) is seeking a qualified Radiation Oncologist candidate for the position of Director, Metastatic Disease Team.

The Metastatic Disease Team in the Department of Radiation Oncology at MSK focuses on the treatment of metastatic disease across primary tumor types.  Since its inception in 2017, the team has developed a wide-ranging research portfolio of clinical, translational, and health services studies that examine the role of radiation in the context of metastatic disease.  The group also has constructed clinical guidelines pertaining to the indications for radiation and the optimal techniques, including ablative regimens such as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in the context of metastases. It has collaborated closely with surgery, Anesthesia Pain, and Supportive care, Medical Oncology and Early Drug Development teams to initiate multidisciplinary clinics and research efforts. The Metastatic Director will oversee the clinical and research operations of this disease team, which involves approximately 20 faculty across disease sites.

The position will involve approximately 50% clinical effort, with a potential, partial focus on metastatic cancer, and 50% dedicated research time (pending the clinical or clinical-academic track).
