Associate Distribution Administrator - Logistics (C Shift)

Job Details:

SUMMARY:

The responsibilities for this position include checking load paperwork for accuracy before preparing and billing loads shipping from the plant. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities organizing work selecting appropriate methods to complete assigned tasks evaluating results and coordinating with others; additional responsibilities as assigned. The position requires a great deal of attention to detail and information tracking. The work environment is very steady and fast paced. 

Shift:10:00 pm -6:00 am

Schedule: Monday - Saturday ,occasional Sundays

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Experience: Previous business office experience preferred. 
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with a preference for the Tyson Business Computer Systems; an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. The primary systems include the WMS, Sessions (Mainframe), and Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Outlook. 
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills a clear concise professional and customer-focused communication style. Special Skills: Must be proficient with data entry. 
• Supervisory: NA 
• Travel: NA 

 Position-Specific Requirements: This individual must be willing to cross-train on several other positions within the shipping department; cover vacations sick leave and work different shift hours.
