Associate Lawyer - Intellectual Property

Main responsibilities

• Advises on all aspects of IP including trademark and copyright clearance, registrations, brand protection and enforcement, and IP issues arising in new ventures, marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Supports the team in trademark portfolio management and in the prosecution process for trademarks and patents, including preparing filings and maintaining records.
• Assists in M&A projects by supporting IP due diligence and coordinating documentation for post-acquisition IP integration.
• Assists in drafting and reviewing IP-related agreements, including basic IP assignments and licenses.
• Supports the handling of IP litigation and enforcement matters, including drafting cease-and-desist letters, oppositions and cancellations, monitoring trademark use on social media, and assisting in the preparation of settlement documentation.
• Collaborates with and supports other team members, on day-to-day IP tasks and case management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Master's Degree with specialization in IP from a prominent University.
• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece.
• Proven track record of 4–6 years both from an advisory and law enforcement-oriented practice.
• Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
• Personality of high ethics and integrity.
• Writing, organizational and problem solving, as well as clear client service orientation.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently both within the team and individually.
