We’re looking for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven People & Culture Operations Associate to help power the day-to-day employee experience across our organization.Â

This is a highly operational role focused on delivering seamless onboarding, supporting employees in the field and corporate teams, and ensuring our systems, data, and processes run smoothly. Â

Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee LifecycleÂ
Â
- Execute high-volume onboarding for both craft/field and corporate hires Â
- Manage new hire setup across systems (HRIS, onboarding tools, timekeeping, project systems)Â Â
- Coordinate onboarding logistics with hiring managers and IT Â
- Process employee changes including rehires, terminations, and status updatesÂ
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data, including direct deposits, address updates, and tax documentationÂ

Compliance & ReportingÂ
Â
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems Â
- Support timekeeping and system troubleshooting Â
- Support compliance reporting and audits Â
- Maintain personnel files and ensure I-9 documentation is compliant and audit-ready Â
- Identify and improve inefficient or manual processesÂ
- Process weekly sick time submissions and ensure accuracy Â
- Handle employment verifications and related documentationÂ

Benefits AdministrationÂ
Â
- Coordinate benefits administration activities, including invoice tracking and payment support with vendors and internal partnersÂ
- Perform weekly audits of benefits enrollments to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductionsÂ
- Partner with payroll to quickly resolve discrepancies between benefits elections and deductionsÂ
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing clear, timely supportÂ
- Support new hire enrollments and life event changesÂ
- Support leave of absence processes, including:Â
- Partnering with the leave administration vendor to manage requestsÂ
- Guiding employees through the submission process and ensuring timely completionÂ
- Responding to employee questions regarding leave policies, eligibility, and statusÂ
- Coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate pay and deductions during leave periodsÂ
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, People Operations, or administrative rolesÂ
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, process-driven workÂ
- Experience working across multiple HR systems Â
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across field and corporate populationsÂ
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential informationÂ
- Experience supporting construction, field, or distributed workforce populations is preferredÂ
- Understanding of HR compliance requirementsÂ
- Experience improving or documenting operational processesÂ
Working Conditions
General office working conditions with some exposure and time on the physical job site and/or in the construction trailer. Job site walking.Â
