Job Overview
PlanetArt is looking for an Associate Product Manager to support the company’s Product Management department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the leader of the Product Management team, to plan the vision, execution, and tracking of mobile app development projects. Candidates will also be responsible for and ensuring the success of their apps/websites. This role requires a exceptional detail orientation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry level position and is perfect for someone with technical experience or a college degree in a related field looking for a first job in the technical product management field.
Associate Product Managers are accountable for the end-to-end customer experience, owning the full journey from the moment a customer discovers the mobile —through product exploration, purchase, fulfillment, and delivery. This includes ensuring that the physical product meets or exceeds customer expectations and that delivery timing aligns with promised and expected arrival windows. The role requires holistic thinking across acquisition, user experience, platform performance, operations, and post-purchase touchpoints to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience across the entire customer lifecycle.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute mobile development projects
- Define project scope, objectives, and requirements
- Work closely with the team of Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Leverage advanced technical analytics skills including SQL querying, Google Analytics (GA/GA4),Amplitude and data visualization tools to monitor website performance, identify user behavior trends, and provide actionable insights that guide product strategy and feature optimization
- Leverage AI to improve internal efficiencies, develop prototypes, execute roadmap, and analyze data.
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time. Own the release date
- Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirements
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of mobile applications
- Identify, document and prioritize defect resolution
- Create, update and maintain project documentation in Confluence
- Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issues
What You Should Have
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Work experience or college degree in a technical area.
- Technical understanding of mobile technologies, platforms, and development methodologies
- Experience using AI to develop products or vibe code.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with or understanding of QA and testing practices for mobile applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team

- This is a hybrid position; employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option of working remotely two days (Wednesday and Friday).
The compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary.
