Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate Technical Architect to design, build, and scale high-performance, secure, and reliable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should be technology agnostic, possess strong expertise in NodeJS, modern Web technologies, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems, and be capable of owning architecture decisions while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.
The candidate should also have a good understanding of AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) and modern AI-assisted engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture, solution blueprints, and implementation strategies.
  • Define architecture for microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
  • Review code and ensure adherence to quality, security, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery teams, Clients, and Business stakeholders to deliver optimal technical solutions.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance across projects.
  • Participate in technical solutioning, estimations, POCs, and feasibility assessments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable architectural approaches.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across the Software Development Lifecycle.


Technical Skills & Requirements

Core Technologies

  • Strong hands-on expertise in NodeJS, particularly for backend development.
  • Recent 5+ years of experience working extensively with NodeJS.
  • Experience with modern NodeJS frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
  • Good understanding of modern Web technologies and API-based application development.
  • Exposure to Java is a plus; however, the candidate must not be limited to only Java or only .NET throughout their career.

Architecture & Design

  • Strong expertise in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
  • Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, API Gateway, and Event-Driven Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Distributed Systems, Scalability, Security, and Performance Optimization.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and taking ownership of architecture decisions.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
  • Good understanding of cloud-native architecture and deployment practices.

Databases

  • Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Understanding of database design, optimization, scalability, and caching strategies.

AI & Modern Engineering

  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC).
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern AI-enabled engineering workflows.

Mandatory Eligibility

  • 8–10 years of software engineering experience with recent 5+ years in NodeJS as backend development.
  • Significant experience in software architecture and solution design, with demonstrated ownership of architecture decisions.
  • Technology-agnostic mindset is mandatory.
  • Candidates whose career has been exclusively focused on only Java or only .NET are not eligible.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and providing technical leadership to engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of HLD, LLD, Microservices, Distributed Systems, APIs, Cloud, Scalability, Security, and Performance Optimization.
  • Knowledge of AI SDLC is mandatory.
  • Web3/Blockchain experience is not required.
