Associate Visual Merchandiser - Hybrid (Monday-Wednesday

Overview

The Associate Visual Merchandiser will report to a department head and is directly responsible for creating product planograms as well as conducting pre and post analysis for each planogram to ensure alignment with established benchmarking criteria.  This position is located in our Livonia, MI headquarters (Pet Central) and offers a hybrid environment working in office Monday-Wednesday and working remotely Thursday -Friday. 

Responsibilities/Qualifications

The Associate Visual Merchandiser will:

• Design and project manage all aspects of planograms and display planning that support company strategies.
• Utilize and leverage space planning software to support store, planogram, and reporting initiatives.
• Follow and maintain space planning guidelines, from product placement to overall presentation, enhancing the customer experience while driving sales and optimizing space.
• Analyze and measure success using sales and space productivity metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in store layouts and planograms.
• Maintain open, two-way communication with field and corporate teams regarding planogram effectiveness and opportunities; apply feedback to refine strategies as needed.
• Support and execute additional merchandising-related projects, including new store reviews, new and remodel store layouts, fixture planning, and other store-related initiatives.
• Respond to service tickets in a timely manner.

 PAWsome Associate Visual Merchandiser candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in visual and planogram discipline within retail or related field
• 2+ years of experience using industry accepted space planning software (Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), Symphony, EYC, or other); certification desired
• Superior verbal and written communication skills enabling presentation of complex ideas in a clear manner
• Solid project management skills including timing and action planning, management against key milestones and scope creep
• Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze large amounts of information to drive actionable and relevant insights
• Capable of managing multiple complex projects and trouble shoot to deliver results
• Demonstrates strong problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Displays a strong detail-oriented approach to work
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Copilot
