Aveva PI Software Engineer

Müller's Solutions is looking for a skilled Aveva PI Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Aveva PI systems to support the organization's operational and business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data management and real-time analytics using the Aveva PI platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain Aveva PI System infrastructure, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Interfaces.
• Implement and support data collection from various sources to ensure accurate and timely data capture.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate Aveva PI solutions with existing systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Design and create analytical dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Provide user training and technical support for Aveva PI applications.
• Stay current with the latest developments in Aveva PI technology and recommend system improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Aveva PI System components (PI Data Archive, Asset Framework, Interfaces).
• Strong knowledge of data collection, storage, and real-time data analytics.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL for data querying and management.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and users.
