Bar Porter I
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bar porter is responsible to maintain a high standard of customer service while ensuring the assigned bar is stocked and clean.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers, and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
- Ensures bar is set properly.
- Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.
- Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift.
- Prepares all mixes and garnishes.
- Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venue.
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
PAY RANGE:
$2 - $25/Hourly
