Job Description
Food & Beverage Operations
- Keep the beverage station prepped, organised, and running smoothly according to our service standards.
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and deliver friendly, personalised service that makes their visit memorable.
- Take orders accurately and get them out promptly—with the right presentation and temperature every time.
- Craft beverages, cocktails, snacks, and garnishes that meet our operational standards and delight our guests.
- Get to know your regulars, remember their preferences, and handle feedback or concerns with professionalism and care.
- Recommend menu items and beverages that enhance the guest experience and help drive sales.
- Process bills accurately and ensure payment transactions run smoothly.
- Keep your workspace clean and hygienic—maintaining the beverage station, equipment, and work area to HACCP food safety standards.
- Stay on top of inventory, restock supplies, and make sure we've got everything needed for daily operations.
- Support efficient outlet operations by flagging issues early and keeping a close eye on costs and stock levels.
Other Responsibilities
- Build and maintain solid knowledge of our food and beverage offerings, services, outlets, and facilities.
- Follow all hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures—no exceptions.
- Attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions to keep developing your skills and knowledge.
- Show up on time in a clean, complete uniform, looking professional and maintaining high personal hygiene standards.
- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Outlet Manager or Hotel Management.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working as a barista or in a similar F&B role—ideally in a hotel, café, or hospitality setting.
- Solid knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and various brewing methods. You should be comfortable operating coffee machines and bar equipment with confidence.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service. You're the type who remembers regulars' names and their usual orders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a real commitment to consistency, quality, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests.
- A team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
- Self-motivated and proactive—someone who takes initiative and brings energy to their shift.
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance and a positive attitude that shines through.
- Nice-to-haves: A Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or related field; or a Barista certification or additional F&B training.
