Join the Hunter Collision Center Team

Hunter Collision Center is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoy solving problems, and have experience restoring vehicles after collisions, we'd love to hear from you.

As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles and helping restore them to their pre-accident condition while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.


What You'll Do

Collision Repair

  • Perform cosmetic and structural repairs on damaged vehicles.
  • Repair and replace damaged body components including bumpers, doors, hoods, fenders, and other parts.
  • Perform dent removal, body repairs, frame repairs, and vehicle restoration.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify damage and determine appropriate repair procedures.
  • Repair or replace damaged vehicle frames and structural components.
  • Prepare vehicles for refinishing by ensuring proper bodywork, alignment, and fit.
  • Use body shop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications, repair procedures, and industry standards.

Quality & Teamwork

  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Work closely with estimators, technicians, service team members, and other departments to keep repairs moving.
  • Communicate effectively regarding repair needs and progress.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of professional auto body or collision repair experience required.
  • Experience with both cosmetic and structural repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair procedures and industry standards.
  • Comfortable using body shop equipment such as frame machines, welders, sanders, and other professional tools.
  • Ability to read and follow repair manuals, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Skills

  • I-CAR, ASE, or other industry certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with advanced vehicle systems and newer vehicle technology.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume collision repair environment is a plus.
