What you’ll be doing

You will plan and deliver sponsorship marketing activities that build awareness, attract and acquire new clients and offer value to our existing clients. As the Brand Manager, Sponsorship Marketing you will work closely with partners across the various lines of business, the marketing department, various agencies, partners and vendors to deliver marketing programs that drive our brand and our business forward.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.  You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Kindly note this is a 12 month contract position.

How you’ll succeed

  • Brand Marketing – Champion brand marketing across the Enterprise and throughout the client journey. Working closely with the Director, Brand & Sponsorship Marketing, you will support the planning, development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and programs across key sponsorships in support of CIBC brand and broader business KPIs.
  • Project Management – Support a cross-functional (internal & external) team of sponsorship partners, agencies, channel partners, media, research and performance teams in bringing key partnerships to life. Showcase your experience and ability to develop and lead the marketing processes from brief writing through to execution and reporting across multi-channel campaigns.
  • Relationship Building - Work closely with internal & external partners to create a cross-channel delivery of marketing projects. You will manage creative development and the internal approval process, including brand, legal and compliance reviews.
