We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Energy Efficiency teamās Market Transformation & Building Electrification Sector. In this role, you will oversee program execution quality, ensure financial and operational effectiveness, and integrate crossāteamĀ delivery to achieve market transformation outcomes.Ā In addition, you willĀ directĀ aĀ crossācuttingĀ solutionĀ area focused on accelerating the adoption of advanced energy efficiency and building electrification technologies. This roleĀ is ideal for someone whoĀ can driveĀ strategic, operational, and financial performance across multiple market transformation and electrification programs andĀ holds accountabilityĀ for advancing program excellence, market impact, and business growth.Ā

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Ā
- ManageĀ the market transformation and building electrification solution area,Ā aligningĀ strategy with company priorities, clientĀ objectives, and regulatory and market requirementsĀ
- Oversee and hold accountableĀ execution of multiple complex programs (e.g., codes & standards advancement, technology pilots, market interventions), ensuring delivery standards, operational excellence, and client satisfactionĀ
- Establish and enforceĀ implementation frameworks, procedures, and quality standards to enable scalable and repeatable success in market transformation and electrification initiativesĀ
- Develop and implementĀ strategic approaches for market transformation, electrification program growth, and optimizationĀ
- Design and driveĀ operational strategies to improve resource allocation, program efficiency, and market impactĀ
- Assess and interpretĀ performance trends, market conditions, and policy developments toĀ guideĀ strategic innovation and program adjustmentsĀ
- IdentifyĀ and advanceĀ opportunities to expand service offerings, including new electrification pilots, codes and standards support, or market actor engagementĀ
- DevelopĀ cost estimates andĀ forecastĀ project completion timelines for clients and proposal effortsĀ
- Manage and developĀ internal teamsā ability to execute market transformation and electrification programs independently and effectivelyĀ
- DevelopĀ senior staff and Project Managers through mentorship, knowledge transfer, and structured performance guidanceĀ
- Develop andĀ maintainĀ strategic client relationships with utilities, public agencies, and industry partnersĀ
- LeadĀ development of standard proposal content andĀ subjectāmatterĀ materials to strengthen competitive positioningĀ
- Design, implement, and improveĀ program procedures toĀ mitigateĀ operational risks and enhance continuous improvementĀ

Minimum Qualifications:Ā
- BachelorāsĀ degreeĀ andĀ 10Ā years of progressively responsible experience managing complex programs, solution areas, or cross-functional initiatives within energy efficiency, utilities, market transformation, or a related regulated industryĀ
- 5 years of experience leading teams, projects, or programs with accountability for outcomes and stakeholder managementĀ
- Demonstrated experience with market transformation, building electrification, codes & standards, or related initiativesĀ
- Mastery of market transformation, building electrification, and energy efficiency program design and delivery.Ā
- Advanced understanding of codes, standards, and regulatory processesĀ impactingĀ electrification and energy efficiency.Ā
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.Ā
- Ability to manage financial performance and ensure profitability within a defined area.Ā
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, market trends, and results to inform strategic decisions.Ā
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, client-facing reports, and performance dashboards.Ā

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related fieldĀ
- Certifications:āÆAdvanced industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM, or related credentials)Ā Ā
- Experience serving as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager for utility energy efficiency, market transformation, or building electrification programs.Ā

The salary range for this role is $105,000Ā - $137,000Ā based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices inĀ Ā six different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
