Title : C# Developer
Location : Newark, NJ
Contract : 3 to 6 month with possible extensions
Job Description
- Design implementation of classes and methods in C# according to provided specifications and guidance.
- Research functionality and implementation details from business requirements and existing C++ model.
- Write clear and maintainable C# code and software documentation.
- Design test plans and unit test the code.
- Provide accurate and insightful model validation.
- Be an active participant in company’s actuarial community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in a quantitative or financial field such as Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.
- Strong programming skills including C++, C# are required.
- 1-2 years of actuarial experience (financial modeling, product development, pricing, valuation, GAAP/Stat reporting, asset-adequacy testing, asset/investment/hedging/risk modeling, etc)
- Society of Actuaries Exams P, FM and MLC Preferred;
- Good technical skills and ability to understand complex quantitative concepts and models.
- Good communication skills, particularly in presenting results to audience of diversified backgrounds.
- Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills including C++, C# are required.
