Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical CAD & GIS Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, managing geographic information systems, and delivering high-quality spatial analyses that support our organization's projects and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in all technical deliverables.

• Design, develop, and maintain Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings and technical documentation using industry-standard software
• Create, analyze, and manage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data, including spatial databases and coordinate systems
• Prepare detailed maps, spatial visualizations, and geographic analyses to support project planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure technical specifications are met and deliverables align with project objectives
• Perform quality assurance checks on CAD drawings and GIS datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to CAD and GIS software and implement solutions efficiently
• Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including metadata and technical specifications
• Customize CAD templates and GIS workflows to optimize team productivity and standardize processes
• Support the integration of spatial data from multiple sources and coordinate systems
• Participate in team meetings and provide technical expertise on CAD and GIS-related matters

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent platforms
• Advanced expertise in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS or similar applications
• Strong understanding of spatial data analysis, mapping techniques, and geographic information systems
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Experience with database management and spatial data organization
• Proficiency in coordinate systems, projections, and geodetic principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality technical work
• Preferred: Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools
• Preferred: Knowledge of remote sensing technologies and applications
• Preferred: Familiarity with Python, scripting languages, or programming for GIS automation
• Preferred: Experience in urban planning, infrastructure development, environmental management, or surveying sectors
• Preferred: Project management experience or familiarity with project coordination processes
• Preferred: 2-5 years of professional experience in CAD and GIS roles
