We are seeking a Full-Time Cafe Manager located in our Lion's Den Restaurant. You will assist leading this department by ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer service with guest orders, prepping, food orders/service, and cleaning functions. Must be hands on with the team and contribute to a positive environment. Full-Time shifts including evenings/weekends.


Responsibilities:

Day to day operations include overseeing food orders/service, including staff supervision and schedules, inventory management and ordering, ensuring high-quality customer service for in person guest visits, online, groups, and over the phone interactions. 

  • Cashier duties
  • Inventory/Cost Control
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items.
  • Financial & Admin Tasks
  • Manage & Operate standard Cafe equipment safely and efficiently
  • Oversee all sanitation and food production codes
  • Responsible along with the Food & Retail Director to oversee the overall Cafe operations
  • Work with the Cafe team to serve our guests while providing excellent customer service


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cooking, restaurants, food service, or other related fields: Preferred but no required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in teams


Required/Other: 

  • Valid Drivers License
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous Management Experience
  • Previous Inventory Experience
  • Ability to cash count and oversee cashier drawer functions
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Team Work
