As a Team Leader at Belong you will be responsible for providing professional leadership, coaching and development to a team of dedicated support workers. As well as being responsible for the medication on the household, ensuring accurate records are kept and that customers plans are up to date. Through demonstrable experience you will have awareness that sometimes you may face challenges and as a result you will excellent at planning both your time and team whilst remaining supportive to peoples individual needs.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be working toward it; a nearly completed or higher qualification is also acceptable.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a nursing or residential care home setting, including at least 1 year of hands-on care in a dementia care setting.
  • At least 1 year of senior or lead experience in a dementia care setting, with experience conducting staff supervisions and appraisals and creating or coordinating staff rotas.
  • Experience administering medication, maintaining accurate care records, and working with Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
  • Experience supporting residents directly, communicating with families, and coordinating with nurses and other care professionals.
  • Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK and not require current or future sponsorship; this includes not being on a student or skilled worker visa, and having at least 6 months remaining on any other time-limited visa.
  • Available to attend a 4-day induction on fixed set dates from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
  • Available to work either full-time or part-time hours, with flexibility to cover a mix of shifts including 8am–3pm, 3pm–10pm, occasional long days, and alternate weekends covering both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Eligible for an enhanced DBS check is a plus.
  • Availability to work night shifts is a bonus.
