The program also provides support to women outside the residential facility, including a Launch Housing rooming house located in the St Kilda area. The Case Manager is responsible for providing immediate and ongoing support for clients experiencing or being at risk of homelessness, through the provision of a range of intervention options through case management support including case planning. They do this by encouraging the client’s independence, empowerment, autonomy and dignity. This support may be provided in a range of environments including funded accommodation services, private housing or via assertive outreach to clients experiencing housing crisis. Launch Housing East St Kilda is one of the only crisis services in Victoria to employ and accommodate women (including trans and gender diverse individuals who identify as female). As such, only candidates who are women or who identify as female will be considered. Permanent full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) based at St Kilda East.
