Job Overview

We have a Full Time Cast Tech position available!  Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, between 8am-4:30pm 

The Cast Technician will provide assistance to the medical staff in the application, maintenance and removal of casts, traction and other splint or motion devices as ordered. Informs patients/families, staff and students about the use and care of casts and traction devices. 

Responsibilities

• Maintains cast room and supplies.

• Applies holding casts or splints per physician protocol.

• Assists the physician with cast application.

• Ability to interrelate with children and families.

This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Casting experience
• Scheduling experience 
• Computer knowledge
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
