Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Safety Expert (SHE) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) management systems, policies, and procedures for all project phases.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with SHE standards, legal regulations, and best practices across construction and operational activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits; identify hazards and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to project staff, contractors, and workers on SHE topics, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvement measures.
• Report regularly to senior management and the client, highlighting SHE performance, issues, trends, and recommendations for continual improvement.

Profile/Skills

• Engineering Graduate with specialization in safety (such as NEBOSH/O HSAS etc.)
• 20+ years in rail related major infrastructure project/railway/ metro . Must have carried out project safety related work in at least two metro project.
