We are seeking applications for the position Chief Signalling Expert - K1 for Nagpur Metro Project.

Missions/Main Duties

As the Chief Signaling Expert (K1) within the General Consultant (GC) team, you will serve as the primary deputy to the Chief Signaling Expert. You will be responsible for approving contractor designs and driving the signaling system through manufacturing, installation, testing, and final commissioning.

• Design Approval: Collaborate with the Chief Signaling Expert to finalize system specifications. Critically review and formally approve all component and software designs submitted by the Design-Build Contractor.

• Manufacturing Oversight: Monitor production and lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure all hardware and software meet strict quality and safety compliance.

• Site Execution: Supervise the physical installation of trackside and onboard signaling equipment.

• Testing & Commissioning: Lead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integration trials, and safety certification to successfully transition the system into commercial metro operations.

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification – Graduate in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering.
• Years of experience –15+ years in rail related major infrastructure project.
• Prior experience requirement - 15+ years in metro rail related major infrastructure project.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to solve problems, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decision and be a good troubleshooter.
