Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Telecommunication System Engineer & Chief Resident Engineer Telecommunication is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• System Design & Strategy: Authorizing the design of integrated telecommunication subsystems, including the Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) backbone, TETRA/LTE-R radio systems, and the Master Clock system.

• Station Systems Oversight: Managing the technical specifications and layouts for Public Address (PA), Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), CCTV surveillance, and Video Management Systems.

• Network Security & Resilience: Designing cyber-secure architectures for the Operation Control Center (OCC) and ensuring 100% redundancy for transmission systems to prevent communication blackouts.

• CRE Site Governance: Serving as the Chief Resident Engineer to oversee the physical installation of equipment rooms, trackside telephone systems, and antenna positioning for seamless radio coverage.

• Interface Management: Leading critical integration between Telecom and Signaling (for data transmission), E&M (for power and cooling), and Civil (for cable containment and ducting).

• CMRS & Regulatory Compliance: Managing frequency licensing with government bodies (like WPC) and leading the technical demonstrations for CMRS safety certification.

• Quality & Commissioning: Approving Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for all subsystems, ensuring they meet rigorous performance KPIs before handover.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate in relevant Engineering
• Required total 23+ years of experience
• 7+ years of experience in relevant projects.
