About this role
Victory Church is seeking temporary, part-time team members to lead children’s groups during our fall Reframe Soul Care Groups. This role supports children while their mothers participate in the women’s Soul Care group experience.
Employment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have valid clearances, including:
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- PA Criminal Background Check
- FBI Fingerprinting
- Must apply through Victory Church.
- Must be approved by the Victory Kids Director and the Executive Operations Pastor.
- Must be available for the majority of Tuesday evenings from 6:00–8:30 p.m.
Soul Care Kids Group Leaders are responsible for leading a group of children through a safe, welcoming, and engaging 90-minute experience. Leaders will guide children through the provided Bible story, worship, prayer, and activities while modeling Christlike behavior and creating a positive environment for every child.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead children through the provided Bible story, activities, worship, and prayer.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child throughout the group experience.
- Nurture children in a growing relationship with Jesus by modeling Christlike behavior.
- Prepare and maintain needed supplies each week, including:
- Snack-time items
- Activity supplies from the curriculum
- Bible story props
- Maintain classroom cleanliness by:
- Wiping down tables
- Wiping down toys
- Taking out the trash at the end of the evening
- Preparing the room so it is Sunday-ready at the end of each session
- Engage with parents at drop-off and pick-up by sharing at least one positive aspect of their child’s group time.
