About this role
CAPSTAN Hauling, a diversified, trucking company (a member of LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies) is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join its growing, logistics team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Haul various bulk commodity materials.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.
- Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervision.
- Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time.
- Promote CAPSTAN’S safety culture and adhere to HSE policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
- 3-5 years on/off highway driving experience.
- Availability to work rotational shifts; including days and nights.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance.
- Solid communication skills.
- Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work.
- Acceptable drivers abstract.
