Description

Responsibilities Include:Â
* Administering large scale Cloudera Hadoop environments build and support including design, cluster set up, performance tuning and monitoring in an enterprise environmentÂ
* Installing, administering, and supporting Linux operating systems and hardwareÂ
* System administration and programming skills such as storage capacity management, performance tuningÂ
* Setup, configuration and management of securityÂ
* Manage and monitor platform infrastructureÂ
* Automate cluster node provisioning and repetitive tasks.Â
* Manage Hadoop stack support run book.Â
* Responsible for cluster availabilityÂ
* Support development and production deploymentsÂ
* Support disaster recovery and business continuity practiceÂ
Required Skills:Â
* 3+ years in Cloudera Hadoop AdministrationÂ
* 3+ years of experience in Hadoop and related technology stackÂ
* Strong understanding of Hadoop design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the factors that affect distributed system performanceÂ
* Strong software development or scripting skillsÂ
* Strong knowledge and experience in supporting Linux environmentsÂ
* Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and setup large clustersÂ
* Experience supporting systems with 24X7 availability and monitoringÂ
* Strong knowledge of current hardware systems commonly used in production environmentsÂ
* Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live systems issuesÂ
* Technical documentation skillÂ

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
